Swinney Marketing Limited started business in 1993 as a sales and marketing company servicing Atlantic Canada. At that time the company acted as the local sales and marketing agency for a variety of international sports brands including New Balance, Specialized, Rossignol, Umbro and Bell Sports. As the local marketing agency, Swinney Marketing worked closely with its clients to help them plan their business and develop local grassroot marketing programs. During the same time the company had input into the development of multi-national marketing campaigns that help to build worldwide brand awareness. Swinney Marketing reached over 5 million in sales annually before its founder and owner, Phil Swinney sold the company’s interests to the Maxmarketing Group in 2001.
Since 2001 Phil Swinney has directed all his energies towards online marketing.
